Math question

Pls solve this...

48÷2(9+3)= ???

= 48÷2(12)
= 48÷24
= 2
OR
48÷2(9+3)
= 48÷2(12)
= 24(12)
= 288

Yupz.
U r right!
I saw this in fb, the answer is 288.
[If you follow the order of operation: you would add the (9+3) first because they are in parentheses; then because division and multiplication are in the same rank, you would divide and then multiple (going from left to right) and you would then get 288. ]

but actually both answers are correct.
Distributive will give you 2.
PEMDAS will give you 288.
